Sport For All is SA’s first registered social franchise. Established in 1997 and franchised in 2005, Sport for all utilises a world-class multi-sport programme to coach children, youth and adults in over 15 different sport codes.

The business model uses a structured web-based curriculum, which consists of 40,000+ drills to deliver developmental training programmes and the latest smartcard technology to track cash-flows and monitor the progress and participation of members.

About the Franchise

Sport For All franchising is in the business of making dreams a reality for passionate sports lovers who want to make a difference in their community. As South Africa’s first social franchise, Sport For All employs commercial franchising business methods to achieve social goals. 

The SFA model uses a web-based sport training curriculum and the latest smartcard technology to track cash flow and monitor member participation.

A world-class multi-sport franchise providing cost-effective training to children who live inactive lifestyles or have limited access to resources. The Sport for All model uses structured curriculums to deliver coaching programmes and business management technology to track child participation and monitor accounting processes.

Franchisee selection criteria

The ideal Sport for All franchisee should be an active individual who enjoys sports. Prior business knowledge would be beneficial as well as experience in working with children in groups. Funding options are available to qualifying candidates.

Training

Franchisees will undergo two weeks of SAQA accredited classroom training, which will take place at the Sport For All head office. This will be followed by in-depth on-site field training over a three month period. Franchisees will also receive ngoing sport specific and operational training when required.
