Lumber City, established in 1979, has a respected and nationally recognised brand name with more than 30 stores in Southern Africa. Its stores stock melamine and veneered particle and MDF boards in a wide variety of colours, textures, wood grains and timber species as well as hardboard, ply’s, block board, planed timber, hardware and other related timber products. Board and timber products are cut and edged for carpenters, cabinet makers, kitchen manufacturers, builders and the DIY enthusiast.

Established in 1979, Lumber City has over 40 stores countrywide. The business distributes a wide variety of plain melamine, veneer faced chipboards and other board products to the DIY market, cabinet makers and builders.  

Franchisee selection criteria

Any Lumber City franchisee should be highly motivated, disciplined and have a pleasant personality with a passion for the industry.

Training

As a Lumber City franchisee you will receive on site training and assistance during start-up as well as continued support from head office. A comprehensive Operations Manual will also be supplied.
