Franchisee selection criteria

Huizemark has a unique offering as it incorporates people from all skills levels:

Qualified real estate principals may apply to have an existing agency converted to Huizemark in areas where no other Huizemark office is operating. Experienced property professionals have an option to be guided by Huizemark through the compulsory NQF 5 qualification, management training and registration as principal after which they can become a fully-fledged franchisee.

Alternatively, they may opt to operate as an independent agent, maximising their sales and earning a 100% professional fee, whilst all administrative processes are taken care of for a minimal amount.

High levels of integrity, professionalism and enthusiasm are critical criteria.

Franchisor support

On-going and specialised training of agents ensures successful sales transactions and happy clients. Huizemark takes training to the next level by offering PDE workshops, NQF 4 and NQF 5 qualifications in-house to its agents and principals.

Franchisees are supplied with training– and document manuals that are compilations of a 50 year track record of success in real estate. High quality marketing materials are available and easy-to-use templates make attracting clients a cinch.

Huizemark franchisees receive guidance in establishing their offices as well as leading office management technology, operational support, workshops and seminars. Affiliations with leading financial institutions secure more clients and home financing.

Your investment

Approvals of franchise applications are handled expeditiously and it is possible to be fully operational within two to three months. Applicants must have sufficient funds available to sustain themselves and their businesses until the first registration of transfer takes place (six+ months).

Break-even and the size of operation will depend on whether the franchise is situated in a metro area or country district. Huizemark ‘virtual offices’ have proven to be highly successful too as more money is invested in marketing efforts and less in infrastructure. No restriction is placed on the type of real estate services which could be offered, creating a bigger scope for increased income.
