Col’Cacchio pizzeria is a name that has become synonymous with traditionally inspired Italian food, including crisp thin based pizzas and an impressive variety of freshly prepared salads and pastas.

After 20 years Col’Cacchio pizzeria has 23 branches nationwide and still offers customers a dining experience of choice, health, passion and good quality food. Col’Cacchio pizzeria is essentially the ‘pizzeria unico’ for discerning, loyal consumers who want consistent, healthy, ‘slow food’ in a casually sophisticated environment.  

Franchisee selection criteria

The best business owners are hard working and not afraid of long hours. They are always proactive in building their business and will do whatever it takes to succeed.

Franchisees should have the ability to deal with pressure and to keep on going regardless. Successful franchisees should not over-extend themselves financially and must have the ability to repay loans, if applicable.

All Col’Cacchio pizzeria stores are owner operated;the most successful stores are the stores where the owner invests extra time in their store.

Franchisor support

Full training is provided for you and your permanent staff for a minimum of two months before your store opens, as well as an additional month of training once the store has opened. Training is also provided to front of house and back of house staff. 

Field service consultants visit stores on a regular basis to conduct store reports and audits to assess your needs and help you work through any challenges. The national marketing fund is used to drive national marketing activities, including national advertising, promotions, public relations and brand awareness. The marketing team provides guidance, design and support for local store marketing initiatives as well.

Your investment

For your investment you will get: a complete store (turnkey) — usually around 200m2;full training for you and your permanent staff for a minimum of two months before your store opens;a full month of on-site support once your store opens;opening stock and ongoing support from head office (ongoing training, marketing, regular in-store visits). You will also become a part of an innovative brand that is always looking to push the boundaries.

  • You will then receive a franchise application form, including credit check permission and the Col’Cacchio pizzeria prospectus
  • If approved, an interview will be set up, if successful you will be given the company disclosure document and the franchise agreement.
  • A second interview will be set up including a psychometric assessment
  • If successful, franchise agreement to be signed
  • Joining fee to be paid
  • Site procurement.
