The very first Cash Crusaders opened its doors to the public in Plumstead, Cape Town in 1996. Cash Crusaders is the brainchild of Brent Topat, who is still closely involved with all aspects of the Cash Crusaders business, but today focuses primarily on importing and sourcing stock.

Cash Crusaders first opened its doors in January 1996 in Plumstead, Cape Town. Today it boasts in excess of 170 stores located all over the southern African region from Cape Town to Namibia, Botswana and Lesotho.

We retail a range of directly imported new goods that includes products as diverse as electronic goods, sporting equipment, musical instruments, D.I.Y tools, photographic equipment and small household appliances.
