Will I need to continue my training once I’m successfully operating a franchise?

You should see training as an on-going process for you, your management team and your staff.

The bigger franchisors regularly provide training programmes when new products or services are introduced or when operations change.

Even if you’ve been running a successful franchise for a number of years, additional training may be needed to successfully implement your growth strategy. For example, if you plan on becoming a multiple-unit franchisee, your responsibilities are different to that of an owner-operator. So asking your franchisor about on-going training is important.
