The Dynamic Electrical Franchise

In 2007 the ACDC Franchise company was formed, as a retail extension of the already well-established manufacturer, importer and distributor of quality electrical products, ACDC Dynamics.

The Dynamic Electrical Franchise

ACDC Express consists of independently owned electrical retail stores whose products are primarily sourced from ACDC Dynamics, and boasts a product range of over 90 000 line items that include solar, security, hygiene, automation, telemetry systems, switchgear and instrumentation, pumps, energy management and cable management, as well as a comprehensive range of lighting products.

As a result of its affiliation with ACDC Dynamics, franchisees enjoy the benefits of bulk buying power and other economies of scale.

Franchisee selection criteria

When looking for a potential franchisee, ACDC Express ultimately looks for a passionate, self-motivated and driven person with the desire to succeed. A psychometric test is conducted to assess the personality and abilities of the potential franchisee.

No previous electrical or business knowledge is required, although it is advantageous. Extensive product training will be provided as well as ERP systems training prior to the opening of the franchise.

Franchisee support

ACDC Express will provide support to new franchisees by assisting them with full IT support while setting up the store, as well as after the store is up and running. A dynamic marketing team is also available to provide advertising and marketing campaigns that ensure brand awareness and brand building.

Full training by suppliers on their products is provided to staff to ensure that the necessary skills and knowledge are developed for the successful operation of the store. Guidance will be provided throughout the process, from application to opening.

Franchisee investment

Your investment will ensure that you get a complete, turnkey solution when opening your new ACDC Express franchise. The average size of a store is between 400m2 and 600m2, and break-even is usually reached within eight months.

ROI can be reached sooner than 24 to 36 months by securing contracts with large contractors and developers. The average time from application to the opening of the new store is three to four months, but this is site dependent.
