RealNet, founded in Pretoria in 1996, is an accredited Proudly South African company with local shareholders and a strong local heritage.
Although the group’s single focus is on the South African landscape, RealNet facilitates real estate transactions for all South Africans across the whole income spectrum, from low-cost housing through to the luxury market.
Franchisee has selection criteria
RealNet developed franchised and quasi-franchised business concepts that accommodate qualifying newcomers to the industry and also allow the conversion of existing real estate agencies to franchised RealNet outlets.
Subject to RealNet’s stringent selection and recruitment criteria, RealNet will develop tailor-made solutions to suit qualifying applicants’ needs.
RealNet’s ideal franchisee is already qualified, experienced and operating a successful independently-owned estate agency.
The perfect profile is thus an experienced principal estate agent who has come to realise that their business can benefit from being part of a reputable franchised network, where an experienced real estate franchisor is able to provide them with advice and solutions to existing problems and future challenges.
On the other hand, entrepreneurs with sufficient resources and business acumen can employ qualified real estate principals and also excel under the RealNet banner, like many of RealNet’s newcomers already do.
The RealNet management team’s mission is to empower franchisees to obtain the best possible market share and to assist estate agents in constantly achieving above average results in facilitating real estate transactions.
The comprehensive business solution offered by RealNet includes a proven business recipe, state-of-the-art information technology, induction and ongoing training, marketing assistance, operational support, awards and recognition, practical workshops, benchmarking and, most of all, the practical ‘know how’. Supplementary services and managerial support are provided at regional level.
Franchisee’s unique requirements
RealNet’s flexible business model caters for both the smaller, owner-operated franchise that is operated from home, and the more formal business set-up that includes a tiered management structure, formal office space and a corporate make-up.
RealNet franchisees enjoy a choice of three franchise models: Boutique for smaller, niche operations typical in a lifestyle estate or smaller town; a Mini franchise for owner operators who have smaller infrastructure and participate as estate agents; and a Standard franchise for qualifying investors wanting to own and manage a big estate agency.
RealNet will present a comprehensive disclosure document to qualifying prospects after the necessary non-disclosure and application procedures have been completed.
