I’m interested in becoming a fitness franchisee, but I don’t have any fitness qualifications. Is this a problem?

Depending on the brand you’re interested in, some require qualifications in sports science or personal training etc.

This is because, depending on the kind of service they offer, people can be at risk of injury if their form isn’t correct, they might injure themselves on equipment, or they need guidance meeting their weight and fitness goals.

For this reason, it would work in your favour to gain a fitness qualification and present it to your franchisors. It plays to your suitability as a franchisee who lives the lifestyle the brand is selling.
