IFA Gets in on Matchmaking

The International Franchise Association (IFA) and the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) have recently launched a new online portal.

IFA Gets in on Matchmaking

This online portal designed to streamline franchise companies seeking locations and real estate landlords and brokers looking for retailers to fill open space.

Locations a click away

The matchmaking database (www.icsc.org/ifa) is accessible to thousands of retail and real estate professionals online, daily and for free, where both parties can post their need for and availability of space. The searchable database filters properties by location, size, ownership/management, and demographic information, making it easier to list and find ideal locations.

“This new tool will help link new franchise developments with available real estate, thereby escalating the pace at which businesses are coming to market and speeding up the creation of new jobs,” says Steve Caldeira, IFA president and CEO.
